Winter Steelies

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about sticking some steelies on my 6n2 GTi over the winter months whilst I give my BBS's a refurb.

What's gonna fit? Presumably 6n steelies do, what about earlier model/Golf wheels?

Cheers!

anything 4x100

if thats what stud petter yours is...

not a 6n2 person

I think you will need at least 14s. GTIs have the larger 256mm brakes on them.

and yes they are 4x100.

Hadn't thought of that, nice one cheers!

iv just bought some nice 6" wide by 13" steelies, just this minute dropped them off at Broadblast in sheffield to get them sandblasted and primerd up, I'm then gonna spray them in a matte dark grey and stick some VW black centres on that iv got, all wrapped up in some nice tires they should look awsome.

try it, its very cheap.

How much do they want for the blasting/priming?

I got some more steels 2 nights ago for my 6N2 for another winter refurb!

I was going to say try to find some new mini steels. Think they are either 15's or 16's
