Mk3 Head from 1.3 gt - Slightly damaged

Featured Replies

Item: Early spec mk3 1.3 gt polo head, with valves tappets and spark plugs.

Description/Condition: Has done approx 160k, has been skimmed before, the camshaft caps and seats have small scratches will give a grinding noise when you let off the accelerator at high speed. Also missing 5 of the cam cap studs, but these can be bought from auto bolt stores etc. So, poor condition, but with some new studs and some gaskets will run for a while.

What it will fit: Any mk3 1.3. Late spec cars will need to blank one of the oil pressure sender holes.

Location: Coventry

Additional Information: This is the head off my GT that i replaced because the cam bearings were getting noisey on it. Was advertised before, but i need rid of it so its going back up under the new format. Has 8 tappets, 8 valves, 4 spark plugs, etc all well used but engine was still running fine during normal use when i took it off.

Perfect for someone wanting to practise porting. If put on a car i dont see why it shouldnt run fine for another 10k though.

Price: £20? Seriously, i have to put something apparently. Beer money, take it away please!

Postage & Packaging: Strictly collection only.

Lol, well I'm right in the middle of the country... you sure you dont need to drive past anytime soon? :p

Postage would be such a pain in the **** I'm sure you can understand.

Take a day trip, come and get it ;)

I know what you mean about postage, I hate posting stuff.

As for the day trip, seen as my current motor does 25mpg on the motorway I think it might turn out a little expensive. Plus if you didnt get the kettle on when I got there I would probably attack you with your own cylinder head.

I could send a courier, then all you would have to do is wrap it up with parcel tape. But then theres the hassle of you being in when they pick it up and me being in when they deliver it.

And all I want is the double valve springs FFS.

Roll on teleportation, shouldnt we have that shit by now?
