good job thats just a slang term then. the correct name for them is a varience bolt and there is absolutely nothing dangerous about them.

But when using wobble bolts can you be sure you have them centred correctly due to the fact that they allow a few mm deflection?

No you cant.

From the various people banging their head against the wall here,i can only try to put the same point across again..

If you are using wobble/collared bolts and have unmatched spigots then there is no way of centring the wheel. The bolts wont pull it in line because the seperate collars move.

Wrong PCD and no spigot match equals off-centre wheel. Not roadworthy.

I can see a size-7 coming up..
