i need to change my wiper relay, but i am wondering which one is it?

On my Mk2 there is a bank of relays above the passenger footwell. The two together on the far left are for the wipers. The left one is for the rear wiper, has four tags on it and is numbered 191 955 529. The right one is for the front wipers, has six tags and is numbered 191 955 531.

Afaik - if you pull the one out with a great big 19 printed on it,and replace it with the one from said MK3 Golf that has 99 printed on it,that gives you variable wipers (timed by holding stalk for chosen duration up to 20secs).

I've not done it myself only because i keep forgetting to look for a Golf one.

iirc 19 is the front wiper and 72 is the rear wiper.

yeah 99 is the upgrade one...works a treat with no further mods req
