Depends on the gun. 100l minimum.

7 CFM minimum

100 L tank

yeh biggest you can afford really

Depends what you want to spray. To be fair you could practice on doors and stuff with a much smaller compressor. Then upgrade if you want to do a full car or a lot of panels at once.

thanks for the replies, il try and get a pick up of the gun, see what you reckon :)

anyone got any tips or guides?

thanks.

EDIT: got some pics (from phone), i got it for free so not bothered if its not brilliant. says 1.5 on the nozzle, is this a suitable size to use for spraying panels/bumpers etc?

Looks like a spurious machine mart type gun, but should be fine for what you want it for. The main thing is to do your reasearch on mixing and thinning pait, the right pressures etc. You could do with a dryer/filter as well.

thanks for the help gives me more of an idea of what i need, cheers :)

Dont forget that with 2k paint if you haven't had much practice and you have plenty of time you can just blather it on and cut it back later for a quality finish.

tbh the main thing i shall be doing is bumpers and small areas, so what sort of size compressor would you advise for this? cheers in advance :)
