hey all, I'm getting my polo resprayed soon and getting some extensive bodywork done, but was wondering how difficult it would be to fit a 6n2 front bumper to the car and what else would need to be changed?

any help would be appreciated

ummm tell me if I'm wrong but... front wings and bonnet :\

grill, lights, would also have to reweld the car to put the brackets to hold the bumpers on, into the right place!

i thought the 6n2 was the same shell as 6n with different bumpers panels i dunno but jon you would deffo benefit from having a word with jordan eff as he has done this look out for his build thread =]

I may be wrong, but wanted to do it to ours, and spoke to a few people, and a few body shops, and they all told me that I would have to have the welding done, so I left it!

youd need to change the front wings, bumper, grille, grille surround, lights, slam panel, bonnet

think that covers it but yeh you should ask jordan or just read his thread i think he lists it in there

tailgate is not so sure about doors mate

Tailgate is but the bottom won't be flush but you could extend the bits under the rear lights! Door should be interchangeable!

cheers ! so the doors will swap staight in? but you would have to mod the rear to make the tailgate fit?

Doors is a staight swap, and the tailgate is a staight swap as well but like when you fit 6n2 rearlights they dont sit flush about 2mm out
