What dimension was the tyre on the 13" steelie that Polos rolled out of the factory with? Was it 175/70/13? Can't check my tyres right now and I can't remember right now, but would like to place the order for tyres.

I'm pretty sure mine are 155/70/r13

Depends on the model I think. IIRC some have 5.5" steelies and some have 4.5" ones so they use different tyres sizes.

145 /155 are spec'd for my 88 cl , coupe S had wider ones ...165 i think

Mine are 4.5s and they have 155/70 13 T's on them :)

Well, had a quick go this morning, seems mine have 175/70/13 fitted on them, a 6N. Suppose it works. Tyre calculator says it does.

Mine have 175/65's all round.

Maybe as it's a 1.4, because the 1.0's were alot thinner.
