Having bought all new parts to get my mk2 breadvan back on the road, I have now decided that I dont have the time to do this, and so I am selling her as an easy restoration project (with all required parts included) or as a salvage vehicle.

1987 VW Polo 1.3 with a rare 5-speed gearbox magazine-featured show car.

- Complete body restoration and respray in 1967 VW Mango Green with a beige roof

- Front arches extended and rebuilt

- Rear arches reshaped

- Side body mouldings removed

- Pressed metal numberplates

- 7x13-inch ATS Classic wheels (absolutely mint condition) with 175/50 13 Yokohama A539 tyres

- SPAX PSX spring and damper kit lowering the car by 80mm

- New discs and pads

- New fuel tank

- Manifold-back Janspeed hand-built exhaust system with twin 3-inch tailpipes

- Cobra Roadster SR seats in magnolia; rear seats, door cards and rear three-quarter panels retrimmed by d:class Automotive

- No. 14 pool ball gear-knob

- Isotta leather handbrake gaiter

- RAID 280mm leather steering wheel

- Unique Exclusive car mats with green stitching and leather-look binding

- JVC CD MP3 head-unit

- JVC component speakers

- JVC amp

- JVC 10-inch sub

- Door builds, boot install and trim work carried out by ICE Design

- FOUR Skinz sound deadening throughout

- FOUR wiring throughout

- New top mounts fitted on the front struts

- New distributor

- Pierburg carb has undergone a complete refurb

- Recent full oil / filter / plug service (runnning very nice)

- Cambelt change less than 200miles ago!

The ICE install alone cost £2,000 and has to be heard to be believed. It's not just an easy to achieve 'all bass and nothing else' setup - it gives a crystal clear quality sound that refused to get flustered no matter what you throw at it. The acres of expensive sound deadening sure helps to keep the sound inside the car rather than rattling the panels to death.

She is MOT'd until February 2010, taxed until the end of July, has covered 87k miles and there is a ton of history to go with her.

To get her back on the road, the front panel, radiator will need fitting along with the front crossmember, bumper and grill.

It's going to be hard to put a price on this and so I am going to say that I am open to reasonable offers.

Punz - Not looking to Split it yet, becuase it is far more convenient to have the whole lot gone from my garage in one go. It also means that someone is going to get more of a bargain as I will reflect this in the price should people start making offers. If within a few weeks I have had no offers, I will then consider taking interior/ soundsystem out, exhaust, wheels and suspension off and selling individually, although I really hope I dont have to do this.

Well the price he's pm'd me a may do it with my brother... It probably wouldn't go as far as 20vt but possibly G it... I'm gonna go home and talk to him tonight and see if he wants to go halfves.
