not really, there quality roll cabs, i cant find many more that match for quality.

For 600 quid you can get a facom one. there average size one. When for 150 more you can have a snap on one with a free 250 quids worth of wooden top thrown in.

Those that bake them have never used them on a day to day basis. They are probably the best you can buy.

I was looking at cheap beta ones today just to compair. There like 450 quid but the quality's poor. The draws arnt diecent or deep. IMO ad spend another 250 quid or trade in my old roller cab for a snap on one.

few of my tools are just cheap ones from markets and ebay etc, none of them have let me down yet.

Wont last being used on a day to day basis but for the occasional use cheap tools can be good.

I have a socket set of there's, ratchet fell to pieces within 6 months (for me, that's not much use) replaced it with a cheapo one and that's lasted longer and done far more demanding jobs (MK3 suspension being one of them) and its still going strong.

That was a £70 kit aswell.

I've got a halfords professional set which is ace never let me down apart from a torx bit. Also have a teng set which is really nice apart from the rachet mechanisms tend to break, all the sockets are really well made though. And last but not least I have a kamasa set (which wasnt cheap) which is total rubbish. Broke two sockets and two rachets within weeks of buying them.

Have used snap on sets at my old work and didnt really see what the fuss was about, although the 1/4 inch rachets are pretty sexual to use.

Personally id buy a halfords proffessional set if i was starting my collection again, nice and cheap, well made and life-time guarantee.

Ahh man, this has gotten me looking at tools again, I could do with some new bits

Anyone know of a cheap supplier of engine cranes? It only needs to lift a tiny polo engine so I don't need something capable of lifting 5.0 V10's

Yeah, I must admit the snap on tool cabinets etc are pretty good, and I confess to having a 7 drawer top chest. Although in my defence it is from the 80's.

i got the pro tool kit jobbie when it was in the sale for 100 quid from 200, was ace, but then the box broke.

sweet i thought, guarantee I'm sorted.

doesnt cover the box. also doesnt cover any tools with moving parts, so your ratchet spanners and ratchets arent covered either.
