Onlt thing is brimp connectors trap water and corrode over time, better to solder and heat shrink where possible.

So do you end up with two bulbs in the indicator housing? Slightly lost.

Yes two lamps, one comes on with sidelights, the other is your indicator

i always thought it easier to buy twin element bulbs for the indicators and wire 1 connecter to the sidelights and the other as ure indicators

then when u put ure sidelights on one element lights up, then when u indicate the other element flashes

Doesn't seem much easier tbh + your running/indicator lights have to be the same colour then (my running lights are white and my indicators amber). Also where do you get a twin filament lampholder that fits in the existing hole?

You can get them at your local car parts shop iirc, i got a quote for the bulbs and holders to fit a 6n polo and it came to like £15, that was including some wire aswell, my local shop is called Mill Autos, anybody have one up north?

Night bandit yes it can be done on any car realy, any ideas on getting the bulb holders into the indicators? Which bulb holders would work best?

I'm doing this tomorrow so will make a proper guide for it.

would it be best facing out towards the lense? or coming up from underneath?

go just above and to the outside of the existing indicator lampholder, no clearance issues there i found.

I cant see how people are getting lost at this i did mine in around 10mins, Hardest part i found was drilling the hole due to i did not want to crack the plastic on my indicators, All i did was pop to my local scrappy got two 501 bulb holders out of the 1st car i could find with them, Drilled the hole just slightly bigger then the holder, Then connected the to wires coming from my bulb holder to the wires running of my side light which are 501's as well, made sure it all worked then then put some silicone round the holder to stop water getting in and that's it job done
