What does it need for mot then, a new backbox or mid-box, a joint need sealed or what?

Does it have any mot currently?

any other issues that'd stop me from driving it into the ground over the winter? I dont mind daft stuff as long as its comfortable and reliable

A joint needs sealing up, its just had a new spring and brake hoses, it drives mint! Theres no mot on it

dude i've just re-read your post and realised it's a 1.4.

if it had one of the 1.8 16V engines (F7P/F7R?) then I would have definately had it off you.

as it stands I probably won't mate sorry, need some decent power for a 340 and I heard the 16Vs are the perfect engine conversions.

get some pictures up though, if it doesn't tempt me any furthur then I'm sure there will be at least one other person who could not resist!

Thats ok mate, it might have 2 be scrapped if its not sold by the weekend which sucks as it is a mint little motor
