To get them completely flush, do you have to drill the hole and make it bigger or will the trimming process make them flush? :) thanks in advance :p

You dont have to i never on my new 6n

You dont have to i never on my new 6n

So you didn't have to drill the hole to make it bigger? Did you trim them though? I think I might trim mine :D

na i did not drill the hole but you will have to trim them mate

Oh cool, so as long as I follow the guide over at uk-polos and just do the trimming they should sit flush? :D

they are not going to set flush flush but you can get it as close as

Oh cool! ok.. I will see how flush I can get them, I was thinking of getting a 6n2 bootlid and just moving the numberplate down to the bumper? :) Thanks for your help :p

if you fit a 6n2 boot it will sit flush with that but still wont with the little bit under the lights though

yer I know what you mean.. I think I have to weld something to make it sit better, I will see how they turn out on a mk4 bootlid and if I don't like it I will simply get a mk5 bootlid and go from there :D

How could I fix the numberplate to a 8v rear bumper without it looking stupid :)

i dunno reali as they look wank as it just looks like its just been dump there and looks cheap if you get me

Yer haha! Maybe I should look into getting the whole of the back end to a 6n2? Apparently the rear bumper is actually quite easy to fit? :)

I just drilled the hole bigger, and trimmed the corners of the 6N2 lights down a little, and it sat flush. They look wank if you don't enlarge the hole so they don't sit flush.

They arent  Have a look at the work jordan-eff had to do to get the plate recess in 8-)

na your never get the rear bumper on for shit with out modin it alot

haha ok maybe it is a lot harder than I thought :S... If they are not completely flush after the trimming I am going to drill the hole bigger :)

Quick question, I have looked at the guide over at UK-polos and I am really unsure as to which bit I am sanding down! Does anyone have any better pictures of where you are supposed to sand down and a comparison to a non-sanded down version? Thanks in advance! :D

use that link i sent at the top shows were to sand

Oh yer! Sorry mate! That is really good! Thanks :)
