Court case outcome from Nik Hewitt (scammer)

Featured Replies

Got a letter through from Derbyshire police this morning saying the judge gave him an 18 month detention and training punishment. Basically hes got to spend half of 18 months in detention and the other half being supervised and trained.

Dont know how harsh this punishment is myself but anyone who would have a clue how easy/hard this thing is then let us know ( I know theres a couple of coppers on here)

Huw

and made to pay back the money he stole?

nope

Rae was super pissed off when he got told, justice system is fucked

does he have to stay back after school ?

The justice system is 'fucked' but he probably hasnt got any money at all and would just do something else like he did before to get money he owes

should make him a 18 month slave for the people he stole money off, each person gets to use and abuse the prick for 18 months each, maybe that will teach him the value of money and the hard work people do to make it

tbh, that sounds pretty gay.

who was nik hewitt ?

Chris

A notorious scammer mate. Basically he'd reply to wanted ads telling the person he had the parts they needed (which he didn't). They'd send the money, and he'd just take it and never send anything back.

Thats a 9 month custodial sentence and a further 9 month probation, providing he does the full order

How old is this guy? because those sentences are usually given to young offenders :? to try and teach them whilst they're still young

Prison will be like a holiday camp for him and probation is a piece of piss, i just have to go once a week to show my face and have a 5 minute chat with my officer

IIRC he isnt 20 yet walshy....

Anyone know exactly how many people he scammed in total? I know of the few on here but he also ripped off people on a huge variety of forums, was just wondering if anyone knew the exact amount?

I agree with Gugz tbh.

The justice system is fubared enough for people who commit a crime to get an easy time with more facilities than some people could ever dream of!

Having some fingers chopped off wouldve been a suitable punishment for him ;)

its only gay if the master's use their position to gain sexual satisfaction

but if it was me i'd just make the c*nt detail my car for 18 months, 24 hours a day, lick any bird shit off, you know that kinda thing

i know this is reviving an old thread but i thought i would let you all know me and several others got scammed by this guy last week

after extensive research i got an address for him

so guess what i did today

drove 200 miles to derby knocked on his door found nik hewitt had a few interesting words

i then rang the police

the outcome to cut this story short is

he is now back in prison as he was out on license and is now facing several more charges of fraud

so all in all a very pleasing result

you can see the topic itself on either golfgti.co.uk or edition38

hope that brings a smile to your faces

cheers

ken

^ nice one! hope you got your cash back too

not yet the barclays account is being frozen that i paid the cash into and the police think i have a good chance of getting all my money back plus travelling expenses and the loss of earnings as i had to cancel work today due to the small window of opportunity that was available

if this be the case then the dozen other guys that got scammed on here are going to be really pissed off, and i mean seriously pissed off, they got told that they would not get a penny.

it may be down to the fact that we acted very swiftly in taking action

i'm not going to hold my breathe its not so much the money its the principle that he is off the keyboards

Glad to hear it.

On the other hand though, why the FUCK is he allowed to open bank accounts without the police/ the bank monitoring what goes in and comes out of it.

the bank account is in a different name a c jones they believe its his girlfriends account

sounds like the beginning of a career criminal

shame he didnt put his brain into doing something productive. glad you got the guy locked up and i hope you get your cash back mate. good on you for making the journey also!!

Ah fair one! Can't believe he's at it again, even after getting caught.

Glad to hear it.

That is very easily got round... ;)

Someone needs to hurt this guy, obviously he doesnt care about doing a bit of bird, so is just going to keep on doing it when he gets out of his 2nd home

Agreed!

I don't normally agree with violence being the answer. However, in this case i think its the only thing thats going to get the point across. Cheeky little bastard.
