I'm Looking at a 1.4 Polo as i want a car thats gona last me 3-4 years and i know after year i would want a faster car so i thought id go straight to it, BUT insurance kills me idea, :/ Cheepest Quote i have at is £2070 full comp on Churchhill :/ Yes that is £2070 lol

Sucks sooo bad, The car i tink i might get is only worth £1400 ish, Why Why Why :(

Anyone know any good places to get insurace cheeper, Were gona try Adrimal Multicar as my dad owns 2 cars and mum owns 1 but them giving me a £3000 quote, i dont think I'm gona get that under £2000 :/

Plus, Compare the Meerkats ;) Go Compare are a load of rubbish, Why would you show mee a quote for £9000,

I hate being 17 :(

Mines £1500, 18 1 claim (own fault) 1.3 polo. you need to shop around, or just get a 1.0/1.2 for your first year.

That's cheaper than what i'm paying.

£2,300 Fully Comp on a 1.4.

I'm hoping once i go 18 i can get cheaper insurance.

i was payin 1400 TPFT on a 1L at 18

had a crash

turned 19

and now I'm paying 1100

I'm 18 and with 1 years no claims, third part fire and theft I'm payin £960, on a 6n 1.4cl, why is everyone else paying so much :?

My 1.0L was 1350 on admirals no claims booster policy thing (10 months) TPFT. Then i swapped to a 1.4cl after a couple of months and it whent down to 1300 lol.

keep shopping around, i know people that have got insured for 1100 on 16v polos TPFT being 17 on their first car.

Think I might go TPFT even though the price goes up when i switch from fully comp to TPFT on Churchill.. Hmmm,, :-)

More than gave me a pretty decent quote recently. Try them. Oh and go directly to the companies for quotes, price comparison sites don't work for young people.

No doubt they'll only be valid with the company currently insuring you... direct line by any chance?

And oh btw try bell insurance. I was insured with them when I was 18 all mods declared for 650 odd TPFT. Wasn't much more for fully comp.

Oh I forgot to mention, that's all legit, 20v turbo conversion declared.

it's going to drop next year with me being 21 :D

£720 a year fully comp with the co-op with my dad as named driver so still get earning no claims :D

O And thats on a 1.4 6n with all my mods

And after many attepts as Price Comparrions sits I've given up :-)

Edit, Zurich are 'good' £5200 quote! Think not.
