hey all unfortunatly i have just blown my gearbox on my mk3 polo i was just wondering if any one had a cheap gearbox for sale in essex or hertfordshire aera

hi mate i have a 5 speed box of a mk3 cl worked fine when i had it on the car, u could have on the cheap,

i like the sound of it being free mate but you are miles away from me n myn is a 1.3 5 speed and i dont wanna change the selector aswell as gearbox lol thanks for the offer tho fella

you can drop it off to me if you like mate lol i would come get it but with broken gear box tht may b hard ill give u 30 quid for bringin it down if u wanna look into it

but yesterday i blown the piston rings in my car so today iv ripped out the engine and box so i can put my gt engine in lol

still waiting for some parts so wont be ready till tuesday

ouch blowing you are piston rings aint good but it was a 1.0 litre so gotta b expected if u like to thrash around like me lol my 1.3 is bullet proof part from me gear box grinding to a hault lol

yer was pretty painfull lol didnt help that it had 147000 miles on it lol so was expecting it to go bang at sumtime thats the reason i got the gt engine a couple of weeks ago

lol myn has got 135000 miles onit mate n thts okay so far part from my gearbox going crunch which pissed me right off as i gotta do new clutch new gear box new cambelt service new rear brake hoses and I'm gonna make me self an exhaust got some alloys to put on n I've all ready done window winders debadged cig lighter gear gater gear knob 6x9 n sub seat belt pads all round tinted rear indercators n clustors red wich means no reverse light just all red then black indercators lowerd 60mm induction kit n few other bits tht i can't remember lol

oh n clear side repeaters and smoked front reapeaters looks nice with the debadged front grill n i have just brought my self a race wheel and boss kit off ebay bidding on my inlet manifold for my kawasaki 600cc bike carbs then might get it sprayed matt black nt sure yet

I've got a straight non-gt 1.3 5speed box you can have, £30 for fuel costs i'll go to herts for you. I'm in northamptonshire but i'm up for a drive....
