no really mine came with 3m double sided foam but one there on well there not coming off with out some of your paint work

so up to you could always drill them or something

I'm on about the actual grill bit, not on the paintwork! i think people use brackets just wanted to see how its done!

Tbh you could make your own quite easily, just have it like this...

Sorry for the crude drawing, but you'd drill holes in the plate to attach the bracket.

plate surrounds and then the numberplates just clip in. Makes it quick and easy should you wish to change them.

Plate holders are ideal, but you might be a bit tight on space..

I've seen 2 of these (small ones)..

Superglued to the back fo the plate to make 2 loops, then use a couple re-useable cable ties to hold them to the grille.

Dale mate, pop down to Halfrauds and look for Number plate holders. There like a double sided tape and there sticky as fook. Worked for me when I done that front bumper. There over with the fuses, bits and pieces etc.

Get some pics up too, I wanna see my old lil beaut with pressed plates on!

Or just shove it on your dash

right get some velcro and make two loops to wrap around a couple of the grill bits then sitick two strips of the opposite velcro on to the plate and bobs your uncle simplze!

I've got mine held on with 2 cable ties, then all i do is slide the plate out when i dont want it.

see i was thinking this but aint you affraid it will slip out the side while corning lol..

nah, there held in pretty tight tbh, theres 2 cable ties either side joined together.

drill a couple of holes either end of the plate & then use white cable ties to strap it tp the lower grill if you dont mind having holes in the plate

then get a second lower grill which you can swap over for photos or when you arrive & leave shows/meets etc

saves ALOT of time & cable ties

ask wellse, he still fannys about while I'm sat in my car waiting for him!

How about the rear?

My bootlid has 2 raised bits where the plates would usually mount to, obviously the plates are flat so you can't just put the trim tape on because it doesn't contact on anything other than the 2 raised areas.

With my pressed plates on the rear. I have just used the sticky pads. Put one either side the one on each sticky out screw it and put the plates on. It doesn't stick the centre down but also doesn't leave a gap or anything.

If you put one in the middle and push it on it makes it all wavey.

il get some pics up when I've put my 6n2 rears in, got my pressed plates on, and maybe my wheels

as for the front plate what smithy 6n said i think would work well, as it would be realy hidden, and look neat as !
