Spi Carb, Spare Part

Featured Replies

Item: 1043cc mk3 polo spi throttle body

Condition: it’s in good condition

What it will fit: It will fit any AAU fuel injected engine or one which your going to convert

Location: Alveston, Bristol

Additional Information: My reason for sale is that I wanted to upgrade my spi throttle body to one from a 1300cc polo, it was in working order when removed but it hasn’t been used since. I can include the manifold for an extra £5 if required.

Price: £20 excluding postage (which is half what I paid for my new slightly larger one from the scrappy)

Postage & Packaging: I’ve got no problem posting but I will need to find out how much it will cost

you using the 1l injector plate on the 1.3 body? as you could be heavily overfuelling and losing power instead of gaining it.

most 1.3 owners who do the mod use the 1.6 body with a 1.4 injector, i have a 1.8 body and i tried both the 1.6 & 1.8 injector plates and found the car loosing power at the higher revs as it was just drowning in fuel.
