Hi I have for sale a raceland polished stainless race manifold that will fit the 6n 8valve models. 1.0 1.3 1.4 1.6

I paid £230 for it and am selling it for £180 as I need the space in the garage and my project is now redundant as the car has been written off.

Also got raceland coilovers (same as vmaxx) cost me £300 I'm after £250 for them.

And a debaged grill cost £40 and after £30

All are new, unused and still boxed

Any interest post here or call me on 07814976624

Are they as good quality though? After all you get what you pay for.

I'm not sure. I bought it for a 6n. I could measure the distance between holes if that would help.

Or you could come and try it. Bit of a way from chesterfield tho.

can i just point out the VMAXX coilovers are not the same as Raceland, with raceland being inferior. Raceland / Jamex & TA Tecknix are all the same and can be had brand new for £170.00

What makes you say there inferior?

I was told by a guy that used to work very closely with v maxx that they are made in the same factory with the same components and vmaxx just rebranded the product. I'm not saying that is true but its what i was told.

they are inferior cause the ride an quality is just not as good. Fact!

as said previously, the ones mentioned are of the same origin, but VMAXX are not, although they do look remarkably similar. I've had both raceland an currently have VMAXX and i can confirm that construction and performance wise, VMAXX wins hands down. you only have to look at the reviews for both to confirm this. i will point out though, that i couldnt grumble at the ride quality of the raceland considering the £170 asking price. only problem was 2 dampers blew after 8 months. thats not even driving the car everyday!

"Ever since Vmaxx/evo made the original budget coilovers, a fair few different sets have been brought out under different brand names, the cheaper ta, formel k, etcs arent the same as the vmaxx. Raceland are a big company, and must be producing these themselves, just hope they are better than the previous lot! I might have to get a set in for testing. I've ran the ta technix coilies on a few of my cars, and I haven't had any come back for faulty dampers yet... "

I havnt tried either yet so I suppose I cant comment. But upon purchasing these I had done alot of reserch andspoken to alot of people that ran them that had had no probs with them whatsoever and were very happy customers. I'm wondering if we are talking about the same company as these cost me £298.75 from raceland direct, so being able to get them brand new for £170 is concerning me a little!

As for the dampers blowing they are warrented for three years so you must have been very unlucky as I doubt a large company like that would bother giving that guarantee if their product was prone to failiure....

Thanks for the positive comments in helping me sell these. I'm thinking you should probably note the 'important notice' at the top of this page!!!!

the ta tecknix ones are at £170, but they are re-branded raceland ones.

I'm sorry you feel I'm trying to put people off the sale, as that is not the case. its just false advertising is a big issue so claiming something like you did when it is not the case can cause all sorts of problems, so i just want people to be clear on what they are buying. Please note the details of placing an advert on her. good luck with the sale.
