I have a mk3 polo 1.3, it started fine before and all I've done is fitted my ss manifold and i was going to a Fahrvergnugen Tuning chip I've just bought but when i went to fit it it already had a poloace chip and now it fires but doesnt start and backfires, iv checked everything over and over, any ideas?

Re-fit the original chip mate, I had 3 fahvergnugen chips and none of them worked, had to send them all back haha.

Stupid question but have you checked the firing order is correct if youve had the leads off recently?

Shit in the dizzy cap, and the contact points needed cleaning up inside it and on the rotar arm.
