Polo 6N2

Featured Replies

Hey, I bought a Polo 6N2 last thursday. Its great, i love it :-D Absolutely chuffed to bits with it!

It needs a wax but here are the first pics for it.

I've cleaned the inside and changed those flaky trims on the doors and everything so the inside looks brand new. Its got the proper veedub mats and everything. It smells lush haha. The spoiler is hanging off abit and I've got some tiger seal for it, but i havnt put it on just yet coz i havnt got round to it. I have super glued it at the moment. The flippin lambda sensors have gone on it too, so they are bieng changed Tuesday, then a cambelt change in the coming weeks and also the driver door needs to be adjusted (doesnt shut properly grrrrr). I will service it myself when I finish college for the xmas holls but I'm abit busy with exams and everything at the moment :x.

All in all, its an amazing car, the drive is so much smoother than the fiesta which i had before. I love it.

Here are a few pics of it

If you can't see the link ill just have to add some of the pics manually grrr

I would like some help though.

I Want to know what alloys would suit the car for when i am styling it next year.

I plan to subltly mod it

EDIT:

Here are the pics for those without facebook :-D

got yourself a nice lil project there ...

What are the plans m8 ??

pics of it matey would be good, especially for people who dont use faceshit :p i mean facebook

BTW... the wheels you put the link to are 18"... will never fit.

BUMP* The pics are up on this forum now, for all to see. Well soem of them are lol. There were a few on my facebook

More will follow soon :)

those wheels you plan to put on there, even if you can find fitment for them, just NO.

Take a look more into club polo and see what other 6N2's are about, hopefully give you more of an idea on whatto realistically aim for, whilst also being able to make it looks smart, instead of ridiculous, for example 18's on a polo.

(i know there is some polos rolling on 17's on here but hard to get stance right for them, but i dont really know a lot about stance.

Keep the updates coing though brother, neeeds a good introduction to the floor it seems ;)

:) awesome base.

best looking standard polo, looks a good example.

Yeah i guess, I'll have a look around. Cheers for the advice and the opinions on the car. I'm not gonna rush into anything and make any rash decisions. It needs some mechanical work and everything first. Lambda sensors are playing up, so they're being changed today, but i'm worried they have affected the cat. We will have to see. The cambelt will have to be changed because it has done 92k with no service history after 40k. It probably has been changed but I like to be sure. Then I'm gonna service it next month. Definately needs an oil change. Brakes are looking good for the moment. The number plates need changing, they look abit cracked. I wanna underseal the sills to prevent rust and everything. I'm gonna wax it this weekend hopefully. Flippin rain is delaying it abit. I wanted to do it last weekend.

Thanks though people
