The bodyshop that is smoothing my front bumper has got the number plate plynth smoothed no problem. But they have said that they wont smooth the upper vent as you need access through there if you have to replace the foglights. What has everyone else done? remove the foglights and use the vent blanks at the bottom - or just go ahead and smooth it in and hope you never have to replace the foglight?

if you did need to acces the fog lights could you not just reove the bumper?

Going to replace the screw with a bolt - smooth the vent with the bolt in place and hold the foglight in place with a nut that can be unbolted to remove or replace the foglight if need be!
