hi i was wondering weather it is possible to put the 16v clocks with a rev counter into a 8v without a revcounter?

if its possible what will i have to do?

will the milege read the acctual milage of the car or is it on the clocks?

and how to make the rev counter work?

tbh why would you put 16v clocks into a 8v, they have diffrent numbers and spaceing's so a 16v one would not be relavent to a 8v. at a guess you would over rev the gears because the red band on a 16v is much higher than a 8v. The millege would read whatever it had on it as that info is stored in the clocks and not the ecu. also 16v clocks and 8v clocks have the same style of looks so what would be the point. if you want to change your clocks there is newer style that were put on the later models that you could swap or you could customize the ones you have already. you just need to undo about 4-5 screws and disconnet the adpter at the back. i assuem that you are talkeing about a 6n
