Not sure if anyone can help..

I was on the motorway on monday night and my oil light came on and the the revs just dropped to zero, so in other words, the car wasnt working.. I decided to turn the engine off and on again and then everything was fine. Obviously this was very strange.. I've checked the oil level and its fine..

Should I worry or get anything done?
