what the signs of hall sender failure?

also will a vacume advance dizzy work on 1.3 spi engine or do i have to go and buy a new hall sender if it has discombobulated?

Running went crazy having to rev all the time to keep it running, and then intermittent running.. then nothing.

nice one pal sound like thats my problem if it has gone will the spark at the plugs be very weak?

Had the same problem as you changed the dizzy and it was perfect straight away..

lol iv just changed dizzy and it still wont start any one any idea's?

got a new problem though it ticking over at 2000 rpm how do you adjust it?

you can adjust the idle by taking the blue temp sensor off when the engine is warm then by the throttle body there is a small flat head screw you can adjust this via that.

nice one pal spot on now just need to set the timing correctly now

it was £23 from the scrap yard mate
