Got all the door card and stuff off, I took the metal runner thing of that separates the quarter window and front side window. Got the new quarter window and can't get the metal runner back in

Been at it for about an hour ffs and now its starting to rain

How does it go in?

The metal bar that goes between the two front windows.

goes in the same way the old one went out, just make sure you've pushed the quarter light window in enough.

Iv'e got the window in, can't get the metal post in though.

Got it half sorted, didn't know MK3 Polos came with different quarter light windows? Or else I've been sold a window thats from a KM1 or 2 Polo. The glass was a bit smaller and the rubber bigger

Its in but the mirror doesn't clear quite right :(

mk2 have a smaller rubber, mk3s bigger (on the inside) but mk3 gt/g40s had a fixed bonded rubber which need different mirror gaskets (bit under the triangle on the mirror)

I must've been sold a G40 window then because the mirror gasket is to small.
