Why will you need spacers?

I ran all the way down on coilovers with standard valver alloys with no issues at all.

oh lol ...

i was talking to someone on here .. they had 3mm spacers on coilies and i said you reckon i will need spacers if I'm running springs and shocks and they said i would lol

thansk for clearing it up for me pal :)

Chris

I've orderd the 80/60 kit from Phil and he said it maybe to low, after i braught the kit i got a tape measure out and saw 80mm would make my arch sit half way over my sidewalls on my tyres but looking through Phils pictures that hes put up it looks like it should be alright and i shouldnt have a problem

heres the picture

why waste money with shocks and springs??

80/60 on standard valver wheels should be fine, i had my old one down 60 on valver wheels and still had arch gap

lol I'm so confused about what to buy ... now i seen these coilies ... decisions decisions ...

i know tht the ride quality on them coilies is gonna be shocking lol... but i aint really tht bothered.

What to do what to do what to do.

Chris

As far as I know, those coilies are TA Technix ones, so same as the philj ones?

Will be a bit of a harsh ride, but any coilies will be unless you spend big money.

i was reading the rite up on these and they quote:

What kind of quality is this kit?

This kit is of comparable quality to units offered by Gmax, Pi, FK, Weitec and Jamex. The shocks are approx 30% uprated over standard.

i know for a fact i am not gonna get the rite quality of them.

what you you suggest i get ... coilovers or shocks and springs.

Chris

I'd go for the coilies tbh. I've got a set of FKs on mine, so don't know how harsh the ride is going to be on those though. Are the philj shocks + springs really going to be a that much better ride than the coilies? You might as well have the adjustability.

true that,

ill make an offer of 155 lol then it only works out at about 20more including postage ...

spose it would be better to have the option of adjusting .. i didnt even think about looking on ebay.
