I dont know how low it is but i needed 3mm spacers on the front end to stop the tyres hitting the coilys, could do with going down at the back a tad more

You haven't taken the camber out on the wheels enough then.

You really shouldn't need spacers just adjust the camber so its as positive as it will go, the tyres shouldn't rub on the coilies then.

I've orderd the 80/60 kit from Phil and he said it maybe to low, after i braught the kit i got a tape measure out and saw 80mm would make my arch sit half way over my sidewalls on my tyres but looking through Phils pictures that hes put up it looks like it should be alright and i shouldnt have a problem

such a stupid question but 80/60 lowering is that 80 on the fron and 60 on the rear??

yes mate, but the rears can be adjusted so you can have 80/40 or 80/80 and possibly i think 80/100 not 100% on the last one but if you ask philj I'm sure he can tell you how much the rears can actualy be adjusted

thanks mate. I have a set of coilovers coming for my valver and i am running it on my black and mirror polished la castelles which are the same size as valver rims. so i am just looking for a nice winter height for it. Te 80/60 seems a nice height on the winter rims.

Oh well, 6mm wider and negative camber = win tbh :-)

Just the hot tunning ones off ebay mate. £185 posted. Only want them to get the valver decked and a little better handling. I only went for cheap ones as its my first car and i dont plan on keeping it long coz its olny a 1.4. I wont go for cheap coilovers on my next car that i will be keeping longer tho. :)
