a SUPERCHARGER maybe

conrods are the same

just get a g40 mate i was guna do the same thing but the piston liners in the g40 block are strengthend to take the power and their is a knock sensor for the back of the block that would need drilling and tapping

the piston liners in the g40 block are strengthend to take the power

is that actually true?

As far as blocks and heads go they are identical to the other 1.3's, except the G40 has low compression pistons & Sodium valves. on top of that you would need the the G-lader, intercooler, boost piping, ECU & loom, G40 specific rocker cover with boost return pipe.

and you would need to tap in oil feeds for the charger as well as the knock sensor.

You can use the GT inlet manifold as it has a bigger bore than the G40 item.

Just get a G40 engine with all the bits, its easier.

some people recon that actual block is different too - different webbing.

They dont have liners in no - otherwise people with melted pistons would reline them when they have to bore them out

you can re-bore a block that has liners in... Infact that'd be much easier that putting in new liners as replacing those is a real PITA!
