Hi all,

I posted on this site a few years back with the intent of getting my polo back on the road. A few things got in the way and never really got round to sorting her out, but back for inspiration - I'm sure someone on here before said that my Zender Polo was quite rare but I can't find my old posts... Anyone know about these?

i do beleive they are quite rare, but tbh i think you should keep it completly standard. when it comes to it it would be a lot more valuable. what engine is it?

I do kinda agree about keeping it completely standard n stuff too but god I just can't help thinking how hot that would look with far less arch gap! Even if you kept it on standard wheels I think just lowering it on it's own would make a world of difference! Looks very nice either way dude, nice one!

Yeah, the Zender kit was scarce then, and is bloody rare now. Like that a lot, reminds me of my old b-reg silver one.

Thanks all, I will get a few more pics up but in a rush now - I agree, going to keep it fairly standard but do think it sits slightly too high, like the wheels so they're staying but I would like to see what 'achingly 80's wheels' would look like on it :)

Yep rare as rocking horse poo now, although you do see the odd section pop up for sale. You are missing the tailgate spoiler section from that kit

I have only seen one complete kitted mk2 coupe, which was black. IIRC it was a chap from the old original coupe S/coupe GT owners club. He had a pony tail and goatee beard (Dave?). Went to the Polo show one year too.

I'm pretty sure that polo F23 VBD used to be a demonstrator car for BRMotorsport back in the day . I've got an old copy of Cars and Car conversions from may 1990 and it is in their advert. CHOO CHOO. Mark
