my mate is selling some leather seats out of a mk1 clio cheap and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if i can get them to fit into my mk3 polo coupe??? any ideas?

not sure about the rears but u could get the fronts to fir by putting on the polo subframes

I'm not botherd about the backs as I'm going to strip the back out again, so is it a big job to put them on the subframes?

not really most of them can be bolted, or some welding is needed sometimes

remove everything from your mk3 seat, remove seat base, rip off top part of sub base, cut down clio seat base to bare minimum (just something to weld to) clean up both surfacees to be welded, join and stick a few welds on each point.

really easy, my mate did some for me with two small bits of box section and two cut down mk1 golf subframes
