thinking about selling my mk2 polo, it's a 1990 g plate 1ltr with 4 gears.

I've resprayed it in satin NATO green and satin brown. not the best paint job but its presentable, it also has a PhilJ 80mm lowered spring and shock kit with -10mm top caps on the front and 2 coils cut out front and rear, 16" Renault Laguna wheels with 165/40 r16 nankang ns-2 tyres that are only a few months old, the center exhaust box has been removed for ground clearance and it has a momo steering wheel, other than that its standard.

I bought it in march and had to 1 bit of welding on the sill, new rear wheel cylinder, front brake pads for MOT and I've since given it an oil change and a new rear exhaust box in august. its got a bit of history and has had a new fuel tank and clutch cable in the year before I bought it.

its got a small dent on the nearside front wing and the bumper not quite straight other than that its pretty tidy

MOT and TAX till march

only problems I know of are the offside drive shaft rubs on the engine on full lock where its been lowered so much, the springs jump on the lowered top caps when going from lock to lock and the screen is cracked on the passenger side.

na, it's all been resprayed since then but the brown bit needs another coat as i've wet flatted it but waiting for some better weather to re do it

i've removed the 16's and refitted the original steels with good tyres and put the standard steering wheel back on.

the car has a few minor bits that need attention now:-

Heater motor is noisey from time to time

CD player has died

Front top mounts still need doing

Speedo stops working from time to time but works again when you slap the dash

sounds like there might be a wheel bearing starting to go

Some fool has put a scuff and small dent on the O/S/F wheel arch but it is only minor.

Price now £325ono

I do still have the 16's and spacers/longer bolts which I'll want £125 for but will only sell seperately if the car sells first and they don't want the wheels

T&T runs out end of next month. i reckon it'll only need new top mounts as the bearings are siezed and it makes the springs jump when turning. the crack in the screen is down the nearside and olny just comes into the swept area so an inch shoter wiper blade will see that through the MOT
