mk1 caddy w/ Wellers + coilovers!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have had to make the tough decision to sell my mk1 caddy. Reason for selling : daily commute of hour each way and been given company car for new job. caddy just sits in garage doing nothing.

So:

1.6 petrol

1987

Mot - Dec 09

Tax - Dec 09

Flipped rear Axle

Front Coilies

new top mounts

New wishbones

Poly bushes (front wishbones)

New CV joints

Weller Steelies incl two spares

Nice natural ratty (but solid) bed, few scabs but nothing structural

chrome front and rear bumper

new spark plugs

Dizzy cap

Oil filter + oil

fan belt (not fitted)

new fitted carpets + sound deadening

Water sealed inside floor pans

Engine runs sweet after quick warm up (same old story with all old vw engines)

For MOT i am aware of 2" hole in passenger footwell (see pic). just needs a square patch welded in said the man at MOT garage. local Garage quoted £30, or if you can weld £5 for a steel plate ;)

Apart from that i am pretty confident about passing mot.

Speedo cable needs replacing.

Body work in good condition, v. straight panels (dent in tailgate).

Looking for £1150 due to its good condition and wellers + coilies. Have done about 2 miles since coilies, wishbones and bushes fitted!

Based just out side Newark, 5mins off A1.
