52 polo 3dr wet rear seat and footwell

my 52 polo 3dr had started letting water in. the rear seats are soaking wet and the passenger side rear footwell is soaking wet (puddle).

any ideas?

dont have a sunroof and its a 3 door. the front of the car is dry. its only the rear seats and the passenger site foot well. the roofliner is dry too
