Ok peeps, need room in my garage and bit of cash for my derby rebuild!

I have the 1.3 engine i have taken out of my 1981 derby! Just befor i took it off the road i put all new plugs, distributer cap, roter arm, points and condenser all from vw! Run like a dream! Done about 30,000 miles! Comes with 4 speed gearbox! Thinking £70, will be willing to split!

ENGINE HAS BEEN DRAINED OF OIL!

hi mate i want a 1.3 engine, will a mk2 fit in my mk3 coupe (mk2 facelift) oh and can you clear this up 4 me? is my coupe a mk3 or mk2 if its the facelift? ta in advance

The engine will bolt in fine mate but as yours is a facelift means you prob got an ecu for your original engine er i dunno if your car is mk2 or mk3 tbh

I have 1.3 engine with carb that came out my my coupes (exzombie) cant remember full spec on the engine but is all listed in the mk2 thread! Has sat for while but was working spot on whilst car was driving! Done about 120 miles iirc correctly! (NO GEARBOX WITH THIS ENGINE!) thinking about £50

can you give me an idea of the actual spec of the mk2 lump? realy interested dependant on that

Hay dude sure engine is a 2g block was running a gk inlet ported and polished with weber 32/34 dtmr carb but that been sold so now just the BLOCK.

whats the gearbox code for the 5 speed? looking to fit my mk2 golf and how much of course

Have you got a coil and amp (little black box) and a dizzy?? Desperately needed! Also need a gearbox mount (for a gt box??) and the little ball and cage the gear selector goes in? Cheers

I had look this morning dude, sorry i havnt got a 5speed box mount it was a 4 speed mount which i gave away and forgot i did! sorry fella!

Exzombie engine PROVISIONLY SOLD (pending pivking up this week end!!!)

BUMP!!!! Going on hols tomoz so be back in week!!!

With the back box i sanded it right back to bare metal ant sprayed it with heat proof black paint!! got bit rust on the join but should be fine as didnt blow when i had it on the car!
