My MK6 Polo, probably not gonna stay this way long!

Featured Replies

Right, I was a right eager beaver when it came to driving, grew up with VW's all around me both at home and at work, this is where the main influence came from, all the older guys at work, so it was evident my first car would be a dub...

Saved for a while and was pretty set on a Lupo so i could afford to buy it and insure it ( just about! ) but turned out my Dad would buy the car in the end, so i got a very nice 9N polo!

Got it a few weeks before my driving test so had it sat on my drive for a while and got to drive it with some l plates, fun!

Got right into cleaning it and giving it a proper polish straight away!

Soon passed my test after 10 lessons, very happy Sepi! Got these wheels on a couple of days before my test..

Polo was crazy mad high and looked silly but i was to high on my new alloys to care :)...

A while later, got the more suited size tyres, 205/40 for them and got it down 50mm on shocks and springs

Pretty happy with how it looked to be fair but just wasnt as low as i wanted, so TT wheels sold for £350 after about 4 hours on Edition38 forum with mutiple stupid offers of dreamers on Clubpolo and edition.... and picking up a nice set of Keskins in 16" this Sunday with some wheelspacers too, cant wait!

Should have some proper coilovers on it soon to for a bigger drop, 9N3 lights arrive tommorow and got a K and N induction kit on it today to help the engine a little, great idea placing an air filter right ontop of a boiling engine!

I do try with the car but insurance is a killer! Paying there abouts of £2000 to insure this 1.2 Polo at 17, fun fun fun!

Then things changed and i got some coilovers/keskins

Got new wheels and new lights..

Having a right bitch of a time with the 9n3 lights though, chopped my looom in the end and had to solder back together and just run my usual lights till i get enough time to do it again!

Thinking about swapping out for some Borbet A's i've just seen come up..

Opinions?
