I've just done this and the masking pulled bits off the reflectors off? Can Anyone shed anylight on this?

What kind of tape did you use?

Decorators masking tape I guess would be the best thing.

I've tried cheap masking tape, expensive 3M masking tape from work and selotape...all pulls the reflective crap off!

Well i just went to attempt it and i can't get the main light unit off the plastic bit you screw intyo the car...

I've undone 2 adjuster screws all the way but there's a third one I can't get to!!

i baked mine with them on...seemed fine

Does that affect your brightness at night at all? And do the indicators still shine brightly enough......my mum doesnt want me in an illegal/unsafe car

my brightness is fine, can see for miles! indicators are a little dark but still flash orange.

lamps are baked in the oven to soften the adhesive that holds the actual front glass to the unit. allows you to split the unit and get at the insides

I assume youve applied a layer of tinting spray to your headlights? Just checking....inside i imagine

I'm thinking of doing this,

Few questions for anyone whos done this before;

How warm do they actaully have to be before you can pry the glass off?

And should i wait till its cooled down before spraying them?

And this talk about taking the reflective bit of with the masking tape, how have you stopped that happening?

i tryed it and blown my ******* cooker up but then had to pay 80 quid to repair it so ime going to use a head gun next time cause ime not blowing a cooker again haha i did very thing it told me to took of all the metal and everthing so o well haha al tint them went i have money haha
