I could split the tyres from them if you have ones for them?

unfortunately i dont mate sorry

if there still for sale after xmas i may have the funds

Ow much would you sell the hubcentrics for? I have these and I think I'll need some to fit my rear caps on!

the spigot on the rear drums of my mk2 were turned down to allow them to fit these custom hubcentrics to fit. I would need a standard pair of drums (with decent bearings as the ones in mine are new) to swap them with.

£40 with replacement drums as a swap

did you bore opened out to 57.1 (from 57mm) yourself?

  • Author

sure did.

built a jig which held the wheel from the other side and span it round slowly.

then used a dremel to take off the 0.1mm evenly.

result. wheels run straight and true with no speed wobble

I could split the tyres from them if you have ones for them?

Ill have the tyres if you want?

  • Author

possibly. if there is no interest before xmas then I might split them then.

isnt the centre bore is 56.1 initially on these, so the rear hubcentrics are not normal ones?

beautiful wheels, like teidals but with more holes :p

All centre bores are now 57.1mm and the spacers on the back are custom made to have a VW spigot. The custom bit was to turn down the original spigot on the drums as they are so long.

ahhh i see i thought you meant they were turned down thickness wise lol! i dont have any rear mk3 hubs I'm affraid!!

Really nice alloys m8, it's just a shame that I can't afford them :(
