I recently sold my polo

I still have a set of 16v Hubs, Calipers and brand new in box EBC Greenstuff Pads which were due to go on once I wore out the old ones and got some new discs to complete the renewal of the front brakes.

I spoke to a mate @ VW and he said GSF bearings were made of chocolate and that VW ones were my best bet to last and if I bought them he would get them pressed for me - £72 later the new bearings were fitted into the hubs by VW.

I have the VW receipt for the Bearings, and the receipt for the Pads from GSF including the hub fitting kits from VW.

As I have no use for these they are going up for sale - pictures to follow as soon as I get a day off...

I'm going to ask £60 ono for the lot, which is F*~#+ng cheap for the fact it's all new!

So if your 16v has knackered bearings and pads or 8v needs to stop a bit better (as they fit staright on the 8v increasing the brake size) - this would be the ideal purchase to renew the lot on the cheap!

that's a good price Rud! i nearly bought another arosa last week, shame it's crimbo or i'd be running around in an arosa with 16v brakes by now!

so is this everything i would need to change 8v brakes to 16v?
