My old boss has a mazda pick up that went from full drop to full hight in under 2 seconds :-D

At 1 min 15 seconds, think its his old set up too (slower than current one!)

Yeah I don't mean bouncing you can't do that on air. You can still get sparks with air though!

If you want sudden drops, then you want hydraulics, but the ride is horrific!

What most people have on their golfs etc is air ride, so a tank in the back filled with air, and then bags on the suspension struts. More air into the bags, higher ride height, less air lower ride etc.

the ride on hydraulic isnt horrific your wrong!!!!!! when you get your head stuck into it its very simple to build!!!!!

i wouldn't be doing it to get the tires half a mill away from the arch like they do at shows, just so i can lay some sparks when ever i want.

It's just that hydros in general are faster then air, so are better for quick drops when 3 wheel'ing etc.. air is more comfy and probably better day to day cause obviously air is compressable, liquid isnt..

Even some of the old Corsa and Saxo 'showcarz' have had hydro systems, so its doable, just not as common, in the UK at least..

As far as the bouncing lowriders, they run like 8 pump systems with about 8 batteries to match, so probably very expensive!

Theres not many low yanks running 8 pumps!!! deacent hoppers run about 4 pumps!!!

Alot of people get put off with hydraulic because it can get messey!!!! but that only through human error if u dont do all the bolt up tightly it will FAIL!!! and leek!!

The ride on hydraulic can be soft or as hard as you like!! i used to run hydraulic on my ibiza which i built myself as a daily and it never once failed on me!!!

On the mk1 sirroco you have the same setup as a mk1 golf which in esscence is the same setup as my ibiza!!!

you will need to run accumlators to get movment in the suspension!!

i was runing mine at 24v which is quite fast for a little europeon lowrider i had my subframe on the floor and my back box so the car was almost laying on the flooor!!

hydraulics are the way forward they are faster and more fun!!!

From what i can remember, it involved you taking a wrong turn into the residents only area and getting beached on a speedramp. Took a load of us and a big cloud of tyre smoke to get you off it again!

my jetta makes sparks on coilies without magnesium blocks lol. i'm just looking to do some thing a little different to the normal stuff it do (fit coilovers, fit wide wheels, fit different engine ect), its all getting a bit boring and i wanna try some thing else, besides who on here could honestly say they wouldn't have a shit load of fun with hydro's? (imagine slamming it to the deck while over taking some caravan towing mother fucker on a dual carriage way ).

I could just about cope with hitting catseyes in my gt, but that is a level of lowness i dont think i could cope with on a daily basis!

tony comes from wales and is dirt cheap, that's enough for me

seriously tho i've heard nothing but good things about rayvern but they are well out of my budget for this car, i wouldn't what to waste rays time phoning up and asking questions when i had no intention of getting a set up from him. besides tony may not have the experience that ray does but he does seem to know his stuff, we 've spoken quite a bit about what i want and he say's he can get me every thing i need to do it and give me any help i need along the way (and going off what he built his set up for and how well it worked i have faith in him), i'm not expecting the world, just a capable hyrdo set up on a very tight budget
