Fli loaded 450w amp, boot popper, aftermarket alarm and remote central locking (boot also rigged up to aftermarket central locking!), flushed door pins are security aswell i suppose!

Comments: i have been stalking this forum for ages now and finally got some NCB and decent insurance to allow mods so all the ones I've collected are on, and I'm loving it, thanks to anyone whos supplied me with parts etc and thanks to every one whos given me advice, all comments welcome good or bad, but please be aware that i am lowering it after xmas so bear that in mind before every reply reads go lower!!!! lol (which it now will lol)

got the car in january and it was nice for about a week or so n then the rust came thru, it had been just filled and sprayed so its got a new drivers door on and is going in the body shop soon to be tidied up etc, other than that its really reliable, never broken down or need anything other that servicing, some one ran into back of me and was an arse about it so her insurance ended up geting me a mk5 2.0 gt tdi golf to drive/rag around in for 3months, a new rear bumper and valance and that about all there is to tell.

Yup 6n2 pins, had some on my old polo. Very easy mod to do.

Cheers guys for the feedback! Yea front will look even better when I get my bumper with smoothed plate recess on! (although I like my pressed plates and surrounds a hell of alot) I love 8v fogs took me ages to get some cheap! I'm polishing all the dishes and lips on the rims too so they will be even better! Maybe fluro yellow round the little Chanel where the valve is??

The 6n2 pins are very easy but seen as I've got delocked handles I took the rods out of the mechanism cut abit of the bottom and rebent the bottom to fit back in the door mech so if my batt goes flat I can climb in the boot unclip the surrounds and pull the door pins as there still threaded! Lol

Coming along nicely pepe, slammage required! I think you should polish the whole wheel but spray that chanel lk7y or similar they'd look mint fully polished with some vw centre caps! Fancy an ibiza splitter? I've got one you could have for not a lot of money if you're interested, its in the for sale section, ignore that price though its only there to meet the rules

Door pins is a good un, increases security loads, I don't dare do it though as thats my only way in if battery goes flat, boot lock don't work

Would love to polish them totally but tbh I really can't be arsed puttin the effort in for that haha I'll be gettin some image or maybe htn rims in the summer so these are a go between I'm thinking ATM I'll paint the channel lk7y but am also thinking of fluo yellow (I like yellow and grey together reminds me of some nike dunks I had!) so two bird with one stone! When I get bored of the colour coded bits bang some rim tape on and when that gets too much pull it off! Lol well that what I'm hoping anyways! Slammage is THE next purchase! I can't wait! I got a working boot lock lying around! No central locking one but that can be swapped! Dunno bout the splitter I'll have a gander mate!

Had to use a flap wheel to bore the centre out an extra 1mm but took no time at all really then torques up correctly they should be fine!

ok so little tiny update, still no bodywork lol, still not ordered my coilies still not sent the rims for polishing! (hopefully march will be fruitful month for me!) but i got a 6n2 gti handbrake and whacked the mother sucker on!

also i had an anoying rattle and i was sure it was the tail pipe on the rear valance, i even put some gaffa tape on n had a drive, the noise went away!! so now you see it

any ways the noise is back! haha it must have been the gaffa tape wieghing it down its the heat shield above that lol how do i fix that sucker???

has a nice raspy sound to it now tho!

be careful on the cut on off pipe. i did the same kind of thing on my car, but after a long drive to e38 i ended burning the paint off the rear skirt! nice burn mark up the back of it!

its a fair way off the valance but i might put some heat shield on the inside of it but i have a spare valance and ill hopefully be getting a new backbox as this ones pretty rotten, lol

how have other people done thier stealth exhausts?

i think it might be best to try and lift the mounts if possible, then use the standard pipe with the twisted end. dont know how far it could be lifted though.

tried that it rattle even more! lol but i think my mates gonna make me a stainless back box with a really short down turned pipe! how long did it take to bugger your paint? also my tailpipe used to touch my valance and that dint bugger the paint!

from sheffield to e38 at over 100 mph there and back. day to day its fine, it was just a massive thrash that did it. but mines cut off slightly after yours, makes it quieter but closer to the skirt

Ok been out for a run and ommfg it sounds like a pissed off wasp blowing a kazoo in a paper bag! Lol what have I done! Gonna cut two slits n clamp the old tip on tomorrow then I can angle it up slyly! hopefully that will Calm the wasp down andstop it hitting the valance but still got the heat shield rattle!

I just took the rear heatshield off of mine. was corroded to fuck and was just resting ontop of the standard backbox.

I changed the standard box for an aftermarket one and all the rattles went away. Mine was fucked, full of stones and holes etc.

What affect will taking the heat shield off hve? Surely it there for a reason?

ok so i have now got a custom pikeytec exhaust! not so stealth now! cut the last bend off cut some slits up it splayed them out fit that over the top and then put a shit load of gungum and a flexwrap! (metal sleve with jubilee clip!) pikey as hell but it sounds alot better, no more waspyness, just as standard but abit deeper (hopefully i will get a "tdi" back box soon or get the tip welded on)
