The time has come to swap my show winning MK3 VR6 Supercharged. I've been having wet dreams about Mk1 Golfs again for the last 2 months so thats what I want, anyone got one to swap??

This has to be won of the best cars I've owned, quick, smooth drive, practical and fairly good on fuel considering the engine spec. To sum it up it is a well put together show car which you can actually drive daily as I do.

It has won many show awards including Gti international best MK3 Golf 2007, MIVW 2007 2nd best car, Ten of the best 2006 at VW festival, Best MK3 at VAGFEST 2007 and also York drag way 2007 + Praised Mk3 at VW Players 2008 and Many more. These were mainly in the hands of the previous owner as I bought it to use rather than show.

It has also been featured in Performance VW magazine Dec 05 issue and VW Golf+ Nov 06 issue.

Brief Spec is as follows

ENGINE

Vr6 2.8 carbonio induction kit, z engineering charger (256bhp @ awesome including dyno sheet), blue flame stainless, magnecore leads, neuspeed caps, re mapped ecu- Engine is polished and chromed.

SUSPENSION AND WHEELS

Supersport coilovers, schmidt th lines 9x16 rear 8x16 front (Radinox outers so cannot be kerbed), pagid pads and discs

BODY

Fk debadged grill, smoked fogs and inds, m3 style smoked rear lights, genuine tt filler cap, US spec tailgate debadged and dewipered, single wiper conversion, arches rolled to suit wide wheels.

INTERIOR

MJ interiors retrim door cards and seats, alcantara head lining sun visors rear shelf int mirror and kick plates by premier car trim. also includes dash headlining A B C pillars comes with brand new front mats custom made.(approx cost £3.5k total to replicate)

ICE

JVC I-pod freindly CD head unit

cerwin vega 6x9s on custom rear shelf trimmed in leather and alcantara

sony 10inch explod sub with internal amp

(very subtle install)

I have spent approx a further £3000 on this car in the last 18 months including headgasket amongst other things so it needs for nothing.

Mot till August 2010 Tax till December 2009

No timewasters/tyrekickers/test pilots please. Will only allow test drive with proof of insurance.

PRICE

£5999 for Mods but I'm only really looking to swap it. Try buy a more complete Mk3 for your money.

PX/SWAPS- I am after a Mk1 golf ideally upto similar value or Mk1 and cash my way. Or a Lupo Tdi so I can buy a Mk1 golf with the spare cash.

You don't happen to work in Leeds do you?? Think i seen this in a car park near the huge new building which lights up all multi-coloured. Seen it a few times if that is the one. If so it looks like a peach :-)

Yep mate. Thats the one. You have probably seen it on odd Saturday and Sundays when I'm working.

Yeah i have seen it Sundays on most occasions. Park down near there and walk into town. Spotted it over the wall.

Can vouch for this car look like a million dollars. Caught my eye from about 100m away :-)

Sorry mate I am only really after a really decent Mk1 golf. Or a cheaper car to take in px so I can have some spare funds for a Mk1 golf.

Sounds like an awesome polo and I bet it surprises some expensive machinery.
