Volkswagen Golf 8v GTI, 1997 R plate, 3 door in Candy White

Approx 74,000 miles, will go up as its my daily, but not by much. Have all the previous MOT's to back up the milage.

Tax expires at the end of Dec, but I will put 6 months on it.

Its a standard, original unmolested 3-door Golf GTi.

Inside: The interior is pretty much mint. There are no rips or tears in the seats. Headliner is clean and unmarked. The padding in the right hand drivers seat bolster has worn, but not the seat fabric itself. Has the original Sony face off stereo.

Outside: Its really clean, there are no car parking dings or scratches. The only thing that lets it down is that there is a dent just infront of the wheel arch trim on the front drivers side wing and there are a couple of touch up marks on the rear bumper. When I got it, I cleaned all inner arches, removed inner arch plastic to get rid of any build up of mud. Its been clayed and polished. I have put a new exhasut on a couple of months ago, the centre section and back box.

There are couple of bad points.

It doesnt like starting first time after its been left over night. It turns over fine but doesnt fire. Takes two or three attempts to start, but it does eventually.

Drivers side window only goes down an inch or so then stops.

Both front tyres are nearing their limits.

Car came with mud guards, I removed them, so the rear bumper has three holes in either side (can see in the third from last pic)

Its a good honest, solid mk3 gti. Not the quickest thing but its drives comfortably with no raqttles or squeaks.
