So now my mebership has finally gone through i though id start a thred of my car here in the mk5 section

Model: VW polo 6n2

Engine: 1.4 8v

Suspension: Lowered on ta tecknic coilovers

Brakes: Standard

Wheels and Tyres: 15x6 g60 steels wrapped in 165-50-15 nankang NSII with 5mm fk spacers on the rear .. soon to be 15 on the rear and 5 on the front & also with merc e class hubcaps

Exterior Styling: Gti front splitter, de-badged, de-wiperd removed at the rear, gti front grill, aero wipers, German pressed plates with plate surrounds,

Interior Styling: VW 6n2 floor mats, heater surrounds gloss black.

ICE: PioneerDEH-P8100BT headunit with ipod control, standard componets, 10" vibe cbr

Security: None as yet

Comments: only had this car for a few months now and i love it!! future plans include .. US style front bumper, smooth sills and jacking points, get some security, fit drivers side stubby and spray , fuel filler cap flushed, seems below rear lights smoothed, mk5 golf bootlock system, re-trim, bigger engine

personally, id lose the hubcaps, think the g60s can look pretty good on the 6n2

i like the plans you got there mate :) smoothing the lines below the rear lights, sills and filler cap etc all really nice touches which people dont really notice inless you point it out

but yepp, stick to your plans, and some sexy summer wheels and your onto a winner man

Cheeres Ed, yeah they will be done pr after my birthday and xmas, and then i just need to keep my eyes out for the right wheels .. any ideas?!

What do you mean by US style front bumper? Is that the no. plate size/location?

yeah thats the one mate, plate is smaller than the UK spec one.

Yeah, its basicly smoothing out the plate recces on the bumpstrip and holes in the bumper, and relocating/ riding off the plate.

Cheers patch, and yeah the wheels are only for the winter, and for now I'm happy with them :-) & to be honest i think there a love hate thing .. whats never a bad thing :p

Haha, well i can't talk anyway, with my gay wheels. If you want to sell the G60's when you get some new wheels, I'll be interested and don't have far to come to collect ha.

as for bolts have you tried venom motorsport? i think thats where mine originally came from

If I was to get another set of wheels, it would be some BBS RS' or RM's, but do something different with them :)

RS' on a Polo isn't as common as people make out!
