TOPIC TITLE: Jamies 6n polo Project.

Hi all, first abit out about me, I've recently turned 17 and I'm doing a btec nation diploma in motor vehicle which as a projects assignment within, means i have to do something to a car so thought of a car i liked POLO and bought that needed some work. so had a look around on a couple of forums and by chance went onto a 106owners and found this, happend to be in the same town as me too so thought great, wanted £300 with everything sorted but said ill take it with nothing done to it so i could do it myself, the final price after was £150 which i thought was great.

Now abit about the car :)

Model: Polo 6n 1.4 cl.

Engine: 1.4 8v all standard.

Suspension: standard.

Brakes: Standard.

Wheels and Tyres: standard.

Exterior Styling: Colour-coded door handles(need re-doing) .

Interior Styling: Smiley face air freshener :).

ICE and Security: Kenwood headunit, lanzar 4" sub with tweeter, standard 6.5" door speakers for now ;).

To do List:

buy new slam panel

buy new radiator

buy new headlights

buy new indicators

buy new grill surround

buy new grill

buy new bonnet

Fit induction kit

de-wiper rear

6n2 interior

remove bump strips

smoot of tailgate

spray calipers and drums

lower on lowering springs or coilovers

new alloys

6n2 rear lights

yeah defently a bit long winded.

One sidestrip colour-coded and the other not, I'm loving it haha.

why isnt the front finished yet then??? my god how can you sit around with it like that?

oh and please dont fit a mk5 interior, they're not comfortable and dont sit low =( get a mk3 golf interior or 16v interior

wish i had a project like that!!!
