ebay coilover! help please

Hi all...thinking of getting some coilovers but dont want to spend 400 quid on some...looking at these on ebay going for 250ish...has any one bout coilovers from there around 200-300 quid mark? if yes could you please let me know what there like and will i need to buy anything else to go with them..thanks. corz

I bought my TA Technix from UK Number1 tuning on there for £180 easy fit straight on, good quality for cheap coilies just harsh ride

oh and how far you did you lower the car with the TA Technix?

what website are these coilies on I've bin looking for sum for my 9n polo

I ran an old 6n on ta technix, as said - they were harsh but fine for what i wanted :)

They can go as low as youl ever need to tbh :lol:

right...i have found them on the german ebay...200.00 euros which calculates to 180 pound which is a really good price....will my paypal work with the german site..anyone with experience??

Got mine from Hottuning for £165 shipped. Go on their listing, make an offer of £150 and they accept. then £15 for postage from Belgium.

dont worry guys i worked it out but hes not sellin anything atm:( looks like I'm either going for the 180 ta technix off of german ebay or the ones on english ebay for around 220...what ones do you think i should go for?

oh and how far you did you lower the car with the TA Technix?

they go from 30mm to 120mm and mines sat around 80mm up front and 85/90 on back

ok thanks alot for your help.

All the cheap brands are going to be roughly the same product. They will be cheap and get you low but won't really offer much in terms of performance or ride quality. Especially once you start to get them towards the bottom few threads. I speak from experience of using the cheapest coilovers, middle range and top end stuff. Rule of thumb, you get what you pay for. The difference between my £200 coilovers and my £600 coilovers is massive.

wow 185 how the hell did you find that site m8 lol i dnt want to go silly low i just want the wheel arch to be on the same level as the top of the wheel..how low does that sound to you? 70mm? hopefully that wnt be too low for a crap ride!
