ABD and GT box possibly for sale

Featured Replies

I'm considering selling my 1.4 ABD conversion out of my coupe to make room for something else. It is currently in the car and runs and pulls fine. Its a standard ABD with a recent cambelt (less than 1000miles) and full service at the same time, it'll come with the GT inlet and GT gearbox, all ready to drop into your GT.

I can also throw in the spare GT head I have sat waiting for P&P to be bolted onto this.

Am i right in thinking that the ABD is the 1.4 8v from a 6n?

My AUU has gone bang so in the future i need a replacement becuase I'm retiring the Mk3 into a garage and buying a cheaprun around to get me about.

PM me mate.

ABD is the 1.4 from a mk3 golf, it is a direct swap into a mk3 and improves torque and so driveability...

interested mate but not gonna be untill the new year when I'm looking for a conversion kit.

Correct, also a gt dizzy that is if you want to run it on multi point fuel injection. I do believe it will work on you SPI loom etc using either your inlet or I have the origninal spi inlet you can have.
