you could connect it to terminal 30 on the relay, but then your switch would be lit all the time.

how would i connect it to terminal 30 on the relay if there is already a wire on that one?

I'm a real noob sorry.lol

would it be lit even though ignition is off?

?

cut the wire, strip back both ends and crimp or connector block the new wire with the two new ends, yes would be lit even when the ignition was off, might as well identify the sidelight wire, take pics with the switch off and I'll help you find it.

I used the same kit so ill have a looking before i go out tomoz for you mate

the only way i got power is by connecting the 3rd pin on the switch to relay terminal 30.

has anyone got the colour of the wire for the sidelights?

which is the sidelight wire then guYs?

  • Author

come on guys i got pics up now,

i just need to know which one is the sidelight wre.

Fk me, didn't think there'd be that many, you're gonna need some voltage/continuity testers/multimeter, alternatively you could pult your sidelights on and touch the wire that you need to connect to them against each connection, when your fog switch lights up, keep it held there and turn sidelights off, if the fog switch stays lit, keep trying different wires, until turning the sidelights on and off makes your switch light up and turn off
