Golf MK3 1.4 Match

This Golf has been our own runabout for almost the last year. It's a 1996 model, and when we aquired it it was on a P plate. The current number plate is not staying with the car and it will go back onto a P plate when sold. However, the plate that is shown on the pictures can be sold for an additional amount if anyone wants it...

We had the conversion done ourselves, and I think it looks well. It's now time for a change, so please let me know if you're interested, or need to know anything further.

Including the cost of the car, it stands us at £2,375. However, this is the trade price - to us, so if anyone wanted to do the same it would obviously cost a fair bit more. It didn't have a full paint, but what we had done cost £850.00 - again, this was trade... The Cup wheels are 7.5's and 9's, and were brand new. We actually sell the full range or Porsche wheels, but can no longer get hold of these at this present time...

It is being offered for what it has cost us to build. It's a spare car that's only really used when we need a hatchback to throw a couple of tyres in, or drop some wheels round to our painters... We have other cars that are used on a daily basis so are not relying on the sale of this to fund the next project. If it sells it sells, if it doesn't it doesn't really matter... however, I will listen to all sensible offers. Details as follows;

It has an MOT until July and tax until February. It is hpi clear and an up to date copy of the report will be supplied when the car is sold. It's just gone onto 128k and has been very very reliable. As far as i'm aware the engine is completely standard. It uses hardly any oil and it doesn't drip a drop!

It is in very nice condition, and the only things that need addressing are 2 very small blisters on the bottom of the passenger door, and a minor blow on the exhaust. Obviously these will be taken care of before it leaves us.

As you will see from the pictures, it looks stunning - and it is, but please remember it is a used 13 year old car! It is not in show winning, or concours condition, although with a little bit of effort it could very easily be. It was bought for the purpose of being used as a runabout as it's a practicle hatchback, and it's been used as just that... And the engine bay looks like an engine bay that's done 128K!!

Get an insurance quote for him then chap... Can't be that expensive as it's only got a sewing machine motor under the bonnet! Brilliant on juice aswel!!
