Went on another outing in the snow....

Featured Replies

It all started off with having some fun on waitrose carpark

Then it struck me, this snow and lighting has potential for some cool pictures... and my mobile wasnt cutting it.

Fled home and got the digi-cam and this is what came of it :D

They then turned the carpark lights off.... which annoyed me a little lol.

So, the mood took me to bridgenorth, hoping all the christmas lights would still be on, but they wherent.

The only good one i got from there was this:

Then left there back for Wolverhampton and end went to a place I've wanted to go to for ages now just never got round to it.

A church that you can get onto the carpark that has colourful lights shining up at it. also surrounded by old cobble roads (which where fucking bumpy in a slammed car lol)

By now, i was bursting for a piss  and getting pretty cold. Getting a steady picture wasnt easy.

But I think some of them are pretty good considering.

On the way back I noticed you could drive up to the main entrance of the church. So, I took the car up there too :D

One thing I learnt from this trip; I need a tripod for the camera haha.

I'm pretty happy with how some of them have came out. Although i did take 3 of the same picture for each one so id have something to choose from lol!

Christmas sales may have to see me a Better camera and most5 of all, a tripod. I couldn't hold it steady for shit.

Hope you all like anyways.

Just bought a tripod for less than £9 on eBay haha!

Even has a bubble level so I can get it perfectly level. Quality

I like the top 2, but it annoys me you didn't have your fogs on!

They all look like they've been taken with a phone tbh! Nice pics though, and nice car! How much has it been lowered by? That height looks perfect for the coupe!

Phone wouldn't pick the light up like the digi cam has, and the phone camera is a 8MP cybershot

Camera is a 7.1MP HP photosmart.

Problem is I cant keep my hands steady enough. Thats why they arent all that great.

Looking at them, the pictures make it look lighter than it actually was. I'm pretty impressed with how well they have came out. Considering its a 4 year old £80 camera.

Its down 90 at the front (80mm springs and 10mm topcaps) and the back, not sure. cant remember what notch its on.

The balloon tires make it a tad higher off the ground though.

Most the pics were taken about 12-1am and on a camphone you couldn't see a thing without a flash and then the snow reflects way too much and just shines.

Lol I look shifty in the 9th pic

Shame about that other car parked their as looks a good photo beside that

The small probly 1.5inch high piece or metal where bollards click in at the entrance to the church! lmao

Sounded proper nasty when hit it  warned you dont go straight centre over it !

Set the camera at a 2 second delay, press tripod, take hands off camera, wait 2 seconds, bingo - pin-sharp shots ;)

That was exactly my plan haha!

Cant wait to get the new camera now tbh. Might go and have a play with it in Jessops before I buy it though. Ives heard a few people cant get them comfortable in the hands, some prefer Nikon and some prefer canon because of this.

you got hid's?
