dash problem

Featured Replies

hi,

i was changing over headunits and had just connected everything and was sliding it into the dash when when there was a spark.

removed the headunit to find the the rubber cover on the bullet connector for the ignition feed wire had come off and contacted the body/ ground.

there is now no ignition feed, i have checked the fuses and are all fine.

has this happened to any one before?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have changed all the fuses for new ones, and rechecked them, all are fine.

do you know which fuse it is, because some of them have no current going to them.

- also failing that, does anyone know which wire from the ignition switch is for the first stage . ie. when you turn the key to the first click?

thanks for the help so far

From experience mate it is the last one on the far right. hope that helps
